本校の帰国生を担当している英語Native教員2名が、10月31日（金）～11月2日（日）の3日間IB（国際バカロレア）のWorkshop（教員研修会）に参加してきました。この研修では、アジア地域でIBを導入している学校の先生方が一同に集まり、指導内容の情報交換や生徒の学習評価の統一性などの研修を実施しています。
今回は、東京のK International Schoolでの実施でしたので本校の教員も参加することができました。また、本校はIB校ではありませんが、特別に参加の許可をいただきました。参加した教員からのメッセージを掲載いたします。

This weekend, October 31st – November 2nd, we attended the International Baccalaureate (IB) Asian Pacific Regional Workshop in Tokyo. There were many classes offered, but we joined the MYP Language B Workshop. There were more than 350 IB teachers from all over Asia.
The workshop focused on foundations of IB unit and lesson planning, as well as student assessment. The approach brings concrete ways to make our curriculum more meaningful to the holistic education of our students. These tools will help us in taking our students critical-thinking and global-mindedness to the next level.
With so many experienced teachers from all over Asia, it was also an invaluable experience to share our teaching experiences and get ideas of different approaches teachers and schools take to making the experience of education in Asia more international.
